There can't be another band in the world today that has got everyone so excited... Buzz? This lot are positively whizz-cracking their way around the country...

Its easy to see why. Black Kids are a five-piece indie pop/rock band from Jacksonville, Florida that are throwing their hits out left, right and centre at the minute. The group is known for its “lo-fi guitar, peppy synths, and ebullient melodies,” and has been compared to The Cure, Arcade Fire, The Go! Team, Architecture in Helsinki and the 1960s Motown Sound, among others. They came and played for us at Club NME Canterbury in January of this year, and their music hasn't left the stereo since.
