While even the early demos and hype were pretty special, the first time we properly saw The Onlookers live was at LOTF 2007, where they pulled out a pretty scintillating performance that made their 2pm Saturday slot a bit of a mockery. The music they play is a garage and blues inflected rock'n'roll, with a raw, stripped down approach that isn't too far off bands like The Black Keys & Kings Of Leon.. It's no wonder they have pretty much every major UK record label watching them at the mo.
4 young'uns from Canterbury & Faversham, The Onlookers have become one of our fave bands in the world, and are an absolutely priceless example of the young local talents we should be nurturing & giving a platform to get out there and do it with the best of 'em.
Playing a pretty much homecoming set at the farm, this is without a doubt one not to be missed...
