Pete Molinari is one of the brightest sparks from the Medway Delta. Taking his country blues genius around the globe, Pete is out promoting his second album in as many years, which is a beautifully realised collection of heartfelt laments and country blues. One of the toerag set, Pete Molinari recorded originally with Billy Childish in Chatham, and has more recently been working with White Stripes collaborator Liam Watson, purveyor of the vintage sound. Pete was one of the bands that played part of Will Hodgkinson's Big Bertha label in the Guardian last year, which saw the release of his debut single, and from here things have just been getting better and better. Its not production or label that makes Pete Molinari shine though, its the spellbinding, tender voice. You have to hear it to believe it, and trust us, once you do, you'll be hooked..
