Dr Rubberfunk (Jalapeno) & Hint (Tru Thoughts)

A special festival pairing of these two DJ's / producers / musicians and all-round nice guys ... Having both been releasing music since the early noughties, a chance meeting in a dark basement somewhere off Oxford Street led to a firm friendship that has seen the duo in the studio over the last year or so working on an as yet untitled collaborative work. Finding themselves billed consecutively at a number of festivals over the last few summers, they've agreed to join forces for Lounge On The Farm in 2008! They'll be playing a back to back style set in the Hoedown - scene of Dr Rubberfunk's debut LOTF appearance last year - dropping everything from funk, soul & hip hop to jazz, disco and dubstep. Expect tracks from Hint's forthcoming album 'Driven From Distraction', out on Tru Thoughts later this year, alongside some Rubberfunk exclusives - as the good doctor is also busy in the studio cooking up a new album for Jalapeno Records - and perhaps even an airing of their co-creations!
