A little known fact here for you all. Ferry Gouw, singer / guitarist of Semifinalists was once band titled 'Balls' whom, when he left for home in Indonesia, drated in a certain Devonte Hynes, and changed their name to 'Test Icicles'. Interesting eh?

But rather than looking backwards, lets push things forward, because Semifinalists certainly have. Reaching some new heights on every recording, the three former film students tread a precocious path along the boundaries of what may be considered 'prog-rock', but bring it all back home with a few disco kicks and some 80's nous.

With a new album set for release on V2, they are looking very likely to steal in as one of the hits of the Summer. Come see what you think
