Confirmed to headline Sunday at LOTF 2008, The Coral will be performing some of the finest of their five albums in their new acoustic stylee this Summer...
Having spent the best part of 2007 playing some monster gigs, including all the major festivals (except LOTF!), supporting The Arctic Monkeys at their Summer stadium gigs and playing a BBC Electric Proms performance with Noel Gallagher, The Coral are on a bit of a high after releasing latest album 'Roots And Echoes'.
Forging their own sound, they've become the iconic musical force behind the majority of music coming from Liverpool this century, proving a definite reference point for bands such as The Zutons and Dead 60s. Sometimes psychedelic, sometimes folky, and a definite mersey 60s influence in there, The Coral have a back catalogue from the past eight years that many bands don't make in a lifetime. See you on the farm.
