What's on? for 2013

After a breathless and brilliant festival in 2011 that saw the biggest ever line-up arrive on Merton Farm, and a stellar 2012 edition that saw Emeli Sande, The Charlatans and Chic headline an incredible weekend of talent, we're even more excited about the 2013 line-up and all thats in store.

The Main Stage celerbrates its second birthday with a crackingly eclectic mish-mash of Pop, Folk, Indie, Soul and straight up Funk. From Seasick Steve to Soul II Soul , from Lucy Rose, Dub Pistols and 25 years of Acid House straight down to David Rodigan , 2013 looks set to be an absolute corker...

Main Stage

The 1st announcement is here!

The 8th instalment of Lounge on the Farm promises to be even more deliciously scrumptious than ever before and heading it up will be the utterly diverse yet jaw dropping legends Seasick Steve, supported by Lucy Rose, Soul II Soul with full band and Caron Wheeler flying in from the states especially for us. Lounge on the Farm’s very own ‘house band’, The Dub Pistols, are back and so is one of the UK’s top reggae bands Aswad, giving Soul II Soul a warm up guaranteed to have feet stomping and ready to get funky...this is the main stage hippy dreams were made of!

We’ve let you in on the secrets of two of our days on the Main Stage, but we are keeping the best for the next chapter and for now, mum’s the word...

The Farm Folk

The Farm Folk Stage is a festival favourite on the farm, and in 2013 is playing host to the harmonious sounds of Simone Felice, Treetop Flyers and Marika Hackman. One of the best loved folk venues in the UK, we are proud of the platform we have given to future stars such as Laura Marling, Michael Kiwanuka and Kitty, Daisy and Lewis down the years.

Many more announcements to come!

The Hoe Down

The London House super-brand Connected make the trip down south to the Farm for 2013. Their Saturday night do features American super-producer MK and young upstarts No Artificial Colours. Meanwhile, Saarf London partystarters Get Low make their third appearance at Lounge on the Farm, bringing back everyone’s favourite rave pensioner David Rodigan, The Heatwave and much more still to be announced!

There is a very special set on the Sunday: 25 years of Acid House featuring Bobby Langley & Jon Dasilva (Hacienda) and godfather of House, Marshall, Jefferson, plus our very own residents ComfyPorn DJs.

The first year back for the Hoe Down in 2012 was epic to say the least. An epic 2,000 person Circus Tent, we saw sets from Fake Blood, Caspa, David Rodigan, Goldie, Scratch Perverts, The Heatwave, Netsky, Toddla T and many more rave titans inbetween.

Who's up for a HOE DOWN?

The Lounge Originals Bar

After a fantastic opening year for the Lounge Originals Bar featuring classic appearances from the likes of Justin Robertson, Jimmi Mistry, Congo Natty, Barry Ashworth and of course Comfyporn. We've given it a 2am licence with another line up of classic House DJs, local legends and some more surprises chucked in for good measure. This will definitely be the place to be in the early hours when the cider's close to being drunk dry...

The Farmhouse Stage

The heart and soul of Lounge on the Farm, The Farmhouse, is back and bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase dinner and dance. For 2013 we’ve moved the stage outside, under the stars, to host the likes of DJ Alfredo (Cafe del Mar) and Lounge and Farmhouse favourite, DJ FormatRockaoke and Shaun Williamson will be closing the stage and quite literally bringing the house down on Sunday night, whilst local legend Art Fergusons Blues Band will be playing host to Police Dog Hogan, infamous by right of member and columnist Tim Dowling of The Guardian.

The best of Kent and beyond will be playing on this beautiful, hand crafted stage whilst the best of Kent’s chefs serves up the best of Kent’s produce in the shape of roast dinners, pies, Full English Breakfast all washed down with pints of real ale from Shepheard Neame and Gadds of Ramsgate and cider from Merry Moon and many many more. So picture the seen..... an indoor bar and restaurant facing onto an outdoor stage set in a garden all of its own, open to the sun and stars and the beat goes on until 3am...
