Boutique Camping

This year Lounge on the Farm are delighted to offer boutique camping on site...simply the most special way to spend your weekend with us! Just imagine a comfortable Bell Tent, Tipi or Yurt ready and waiting for your arrival at Merton Farm. No cramped tent to wrestle with putting up... you can just get on with what matters most – having a good time. With a spacious area around you, and your own toilets and hot showers, you can make the most of a long weekend.

Great for families, friends sharing, and couples wanting to make this festival extra special. Be warned though, once you have tried “glamping” once, you may never want to bring your own tent again! The Boutique Camping is situated in a private camping area – close enough to the entertainment, but a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the markets and stages. It includes reception staff to settle you in and a maintenance crew to make sure your stay goes smoothly. Book your space now and have a very special festival experience.

See below for our fantastic array of Boutique Camping options!

Sleeping Bells

Sleeping Bells bring you the ultimate in affordable and spacious luxury. Our 4m circular Bell tents hark back to jamboree camping under the stars and offer a cool and comfortable stay for you (with removable sides if the temperature hits the 80”s).

The units sleep two in luxury, on an queen size airsprung mattress, or 4 (with 2 slumming out in style on our cotton rugs). Memory foam matters toppers, “Like Down” Duvets, pillows, fairy lights and a few special touches will ensure you sleep well, and have the space to make your stay a truly special experience. You can even book beds and bedding! Staying in a Tipi or Yurt is perfect for a family or group of friends - we have a range of sizes to choose from.

The Tipis and Yurts are situated in their own camping area – close enough to the entertainment, but a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the markets and stages. The area is serviced by nearby campsite facilities such as showers and toilets.

GlamperVan Hire

Is there anything more perfect than a classic campervan at a festival?  A GlamperVan, set-up for you, in the chilled out seclusion of the boutique camping area. Arrive and instantly relax. Chill some beers in the fridge, put on your favourite tunes and start lounging at the farm!

We will set-up camp for you before you arrive and tailored it to your specific needs – just let us know who’s coming. Our GlamperVans have everything you need for an amazing festival - integrated cookers and fridges so you can leave the pot noodles behind, stereos with Bluetooth allowing you to connect up whatever you want, all wrapped up in a beautifully restored, classic campervan.  And if it rains?  Well...where would you rather be?

Into the 70’s? Choose between Doris, a 1971 VW Bay Window with newly upholstered seats and Cath Kidston flooring and fabrics or Bonnie a 1974 Commer, a truly original and quite unique camper.  Or maybe you’d like to go back to the days of doing the shake and vac in our VW Type 25. If you fancy a high top roof, with 2 double beds as well as all the integrated appliances you could want, Wendy’s the one for you. She's even got a vegetable rack!

Doris and Wendy will sleep up to 4 adults or 5 if you have young children (up to age 7).

Bonnie sleeps up to 4. In 2013 there is also a new addition to the Glamvervan family in the shape of Bertie! He is a 1976 late Bay that will sleep 3 people, 2 in the extra long double bed or 1 in the bunk in the roof. He doesn't have the integrated appliances but a cool box and outdoor cooker is provided!

Prices start at £600 for the weekend.

Whatever you need, give them a call on 0800 035 3454 or click here to fill out the enquiry form and they will call you back at your convenience.
