Our very own venue in Canterbury opens its doors ahead of schedule this bank holiday weekend and to celebrate we are offering free entry all weekend so you can get along and give it a try. We have big things planned for this place, as we bring the high-points of the festival at your constant disposal - 7 nights a week.
The Farmhouse is a permanent space dedicated to decadent drinks and luscious, locally sourced, seasonal grub alongside gigs, and guests from across the musical spectrum. The restuarant launches at the end of September with our resident LOTF chef Comfy Rob serving up the best in local, seasonal grub from morning til night. And the bands, oh the bands... Artists already lined up for a trip to The Farmhouse include Pete Molinari, The View, DJ Format, Kevin Rowland and Billy Childish, who will all play in the latter half of 2008 alongside many many more.
Website and more info launching very soon, but in the meantime why not come along and join us for our opening weekend - August Bank Holiday - til 2am both Friday and Saturday and 12am Sunday with resident DJs entertaining throughout.
The Farmhouse - 11 Dover Street - Canterbury - CT1 3HD. Email us for more info.

Good news in the past week as we were commended on our work we do to try and be as sustainable and environmentally aware as we can with the honour bestowed by A Greener Festival Award 2008. Special mention was made of our solar powered cinema pals, and our stringent local sourcing - especially on the food front. Hitting the music news headlines, it's just another result for what has been a fantastic year for LOTF - click here for the Virtual Festivals write up, or click here for the efestivals report.
Happy days. Always interested to continue our efforts in strengthening the sustainability of the event, we'd welcome any comments on your bright ideas for an even greener LOTF
