FARM FOLK
A new identity for our Arabesque tent this year, which has grown up, got bigger, and changed its name to the Farm Folk tent. This is the place to be for horizontal days and a hoot of a night as we give you everything from the finest acoustic acts through to rockabilly, surf and bluegrass as the days get longer.
Sporting a much bigger capacity this year, with extra chill out areas at the back of the tent and its very own bar, Farm Folk is becoming a more prominent part of the LOTF experience. Don't miss it.

THE SHEEP DIP
Come see the bands of tomorrow today over at the Sheep Dip tent. This year we've expanded the stage, and features the absolute finest in Kentish talent on Sunday, peppers some corking Kent bands amongst the cream of the Indie scene on Saturday and focuses on pure entertainment on Friday , including 'Fakin' It Friday', where we've hand-picked a few of the finest tribute acts in the county to leave us all with stars in our eyes...

THE FURTHUR TENT
Most recent addition to the LOTF set-up in 2007, the Furthur tent, main focus of the Furthur field was a large hit last year with young and old. Featuring a line-up steeped in jazz, psychedelia, funk and folk, the Furthur Tent is our doff of the hat to Canterbury's rich musical heritage and the massively influential Canterbury sound. Whether you choose to lounge in the outdoor planted garden and appreciate the amazing oil lamped lightshows or get down the front for a freak-out, make sure you go Furthur than ever before on the farm this year...

THE COW SHED
Out with the bovine and in with the bass bins as we transform the centre piece of Merton Farm - quite literally the Cow Shed, into a mecca for the moshers, a haven for the hearing - the LOTF main stage.
Very much keeping its true colours, the Cow Shed does what it says on the tin, although this year the stage will be taking shape as a Victorian theatre. On a farm. Gotta love it.
So from the biggest Indie acts to the cream of the dance scene, from reggae to rock, if its big names you've come down to the farm for, we'll see you in the shed...

THE HOEDOWN
Hop on the good foot and do the bad thing up at the Hoedown, the place to be if you fancy a boogie down at LOTF. With an all new soundsystem, lighting & stage this year the Hoedown's looking hot for 2008. From the finest in hip-hop on Friday, to a full-on, anything goes Funday Sunday the emphasis this year is very much on PARTY people. TRACTOR TRASH
A new addition to LOTF this year, this stage will be popping up in The Cow Shed showing off its dirty rock riffs and devilish drum solos. Showcasing a bit more of a rockier sound for the festival, this portable platform for bands will be leaving the others in its dust, so go find Tractor Trash if you like life on the edge and your music on the move...
