With just under 10 weeks to go to this years LOTF things are hotting up, and we don't just mean the weather... Added to the main stage line-up, two bands we're extremely excited to invite down to Merton Farm - proud owners of this years best album to date and Indie darlings The Mystery Jets and one of the most amazing live bands on the planet - Holy Fuck. How d'ya like them apples?...
Okay, tickets have gone out on sale in the first half of our ticket shops around Kent today. See our ticket shops page

Our extended Earlybird ticket offer has just finished. If you weren't quick enough to get one then sorry, but we did give you a fair chance, extending the offer almost 14 days beyond intended. And if you did get one, congratulations, because this years LOTF is shaping up to be the bestest ever. Official totals look like we've sold over 6 times as many tickets as we had done at this point last year, and with 9 weeks to go you can bet your bottom dollar Merton Farm is gonna rock come July 11th.

Well, today we made our first appearance in the gossip columns, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Moss, Winehouse & Ronson in this weeks Grazia. We're the best 'local' festival to go to apparently, but y'all knew that anyway - thats why you're here...
Stay tuned for impending blogged stories of celebrity excess, habits and lawsuits - LOTF style!

Well well, we made it back into the Sunday Times' hallowed pages yesterday, this time in the Style section. Now I don't remember loungin about on a farm ever feeling that haute couture but there you go, what with all this 'glamping' (glam camping!) going on nowadays who are we to argue. Thanks Sunday Times, apparently we're one of the top 50 stylish things to do this Summer...

We've been feeling a little left out what with not having a forum for so long, but change is afoot, as those excellent people at festivals bible - >Efestivals have only gone and given us one on their site. This is a good sign of the times for LOTF, we're stepping up to the plate with all the big festivals, so we do ask you to go on their and use it, voice your opinions, put in requests, whatever you will... Lets talk.. You can visit the forum by clicking here

We're busy beavering away on promotion at the minute, but we haven't forgotten about the all important bands, oh no, in fact we're still line-up crazy... And some of the best news we've had over the past week is that Terry Hall is coming back to LOTF this year, with a bag of records in hand, to spin some tunes on the all day knees-up that is Funday Sunday in the Sheep Dip! Classic

Them quality music maestros just keep on coming as the farm line-up looks that little more heftier. This weeks new beauts include two of the hottest young bands in the world, the Welsh wizards Los Campesinos and the svelte Swedish Those Dancing Days. Add into the mix one of the hottest Hiphop acts in the world from the Ninja Tune label - the Canadian Cadence Weapon and the Mercury Music Prize nominated Jazz madness of Polar Bear and its looking pretty peachy to us! How intercontinental...

We've made it to #7 of the "20 best festivals you've never heard of" in the Escape section of the Observer today, which is fantastic. Thanks Observer. We're also in The Times' Culture section - which is like the icing on the cake. One of the 30 best festivals this Summer so say them. You can see these features in the LOTF In The Press section.
